I know it's easy to be cool with 9 WRC titles in your medal cabinet, but come on, this guy.... is unbelievable.
Oh and there is the minuscule detail of the brand new WTCC Citroën in action in this video, as well as 3 times WTCC champ Yvan Muller pulling a fast one on Loeb, while Daniel Elena plays pétanque. You got to hate the French not to love this.

Champion != Cool
I don't think anyone would argue that Jeff Gordon was or is cool.

Two of the most successful current French racing drivers competing in a French car? I'm stoked!
Hoping the aerodynamics on the WTCC cars next year don't kill the touring car action we're used to seeing from them and turn it into a DTM procession. If you can't lose a few body panels and still finish well, it ain't touring cars.

Nor was Alain Prost for that matter. Or a certain M. Schumacher. That's why Loeb stands out so much, for me at least, because he is.

0:29 I love that casual hand brake turn around the tree.

I'm not sure I'd describe him as "cool", let alone a "king of cool". If you want a cool recent champion of a top level series, you want Tony Stewart, with his workout regimen of soda cookies and his schedule consisting of 60 extra-curricular dirt races in 800 horsepower, 1400 pound cars a year just because it's fun.

I like Groholm better...
